This chapter has been removed from the net publication of this
book, so that it can be published in "Mythic Perspectives"
magazine. The Mythic Perspectives article entirely replaces the
Familiars section in the Laboratory chapter of the Ars Magica
rulebook. If you look in the table of contents, above, you'll
note it has rules for odd metals in your cords, and tinctures
(which are impurities in the cords). It has oodles of new bond
qualities (thanks Kenji), rules for retempering the cords and
methods of reforging the bond.
Mythic Perspectives has a web page.
It sells back issues.
So..., tempted?
