Kara was one of the original grogs joining the covenant when she was 16. Her long service to the covenant had earned her great respect from the covenfolk. Her work as a chirurgeon and midwife meant that most people at the covenant and village had cause to thank her. Several years before her death she had stopped travelling on expedition. Edmond her pupil has taken on that responsibility. She spent her final years caring for the covenfolk and village.
