One of the new members of Malinbois covenant. She arrived along with two other magi having just passed her gauntlet with them. Her life is dedicated to healing and the gathering of knowledge.

Appearance

She has blonde hair, neatly cropped to shoulder length and deep blue eyes. Her voice is smooth and calming. You get a feeling of calmness whenever she is near. Dressed in a white dress you notice she walks with a strange gait. She has been lame since birth.

Origins

She hails from the covenant of Berinor, a small town in Provence. Her parens, Ghovar, is the healer of the town. Maria was born in the town and was overlooked as an apprentice to begin with due to her gentle gift. Her caring nature meant she was the obvious choice to help Ghovar with his duties. She learnt to read in her spare time with the help of Ghovar and was fascinated with all the books that he had, learning much as her hunger for knowledge increased.

At the age of 11 her gift manifested, when she saved a dying man with the use of a few plants which activated her magic. Ghovar was overjoyed and his helper became his apprentice.

After passing her gauntlet, she moved to an area where she had heard there was much suffering caused by a mysterious episode of disease.

Notes

After completing her four seasons work which mainly involved investigating items, she is now looking into the recent loss of the aura. Studying Mandator's notes she is beginning to learn Aura Theory and learn how the magic pools and flows.

She is now studying the Arts again so that they are good enough to bond a Familiar.
